This is exactly what a good TV show does. The anticipation, and anxiety surrounding this frustration lack of connection between the two is what makes a show like this work.

We know they love one another, we know they WILL get together, and that is what keeps us tuning back. They teased us this year by setting up the baby story, but just throwing the two into a donated sperm story so they can be together is not what fans want. So, they have to play it out. Now with this new twist in the story, it is another possible year of them teasing where Bones comes to grips with her love of Booth.

Perfect storytelling. I get the impression often that people are so desperate for these two, that they are willing to have the show taken off the air just to see these two kiss. That's the show killer. Now that the suspense was over No one wants to see them together, just in the process off. Maybe if they do it just right, a year together and then they keep going.. A lifetime spent in the vicinity of a television screen led to his current dream job, as well as his knowledge of too many TV themes and ad jingles.
