It was so crowded that they would only let into the Mexican Pavilion the same number of people that came out. We went there to get Mexican blankets, as pretty much all the sweatshirts had been snatched up.

As the night went on, I lost count of how many people asked us where we got the blankets. Anyway, we waited to watch the second Illuminations show, since that was timed for midnight. We watched from the short stone wall that skirts the Norway Pavilion. We spread one blanket on the stones, and snuggled under the second one. We watched the initial fireworks, and then I turned around, and he pulled out a ring during the time when the globe is traveling through the lagoon. I was shocked, and it was so incredibly special and romantic!

My husband and I will celebrate our 5 year anniversary this May! I was lucky enough to be there on January 30th to view IllumiNations on my very first trip to Disney World!

That was the year of the 15 years of magic celebration — i remember it well. It wasnt called illuminations then — that must have started mid nineties. My highlight every time is dinner at the Epcot pavilions normally Japanese and then illuminations — Reflections of earth for 25th celebration was cool too.

Was there for the 20 years as well. Going to be very different going back now IM the daddy! It totally makes the parks new to you again. Have fun. Illuminations , Reflections of Earth, it was amazing, we enjoy watching the show and make it a point to watch it every time we go there. It truly is an amazing show to see. Happy Anniversary, Epcot! This past summer was my first time to Disney, it was a dream come true for me. IllumiNations just blew me away.

It was absolutely beautiful. I asked my wife to marry me while watching Reflections of Earth. We took a fireworks cruise on the Breathless. It was truly magical! I worked at Epcot from and have really fond memories of the old version of Illuminations. Although not so technically imaginitive it always seemed to me more of a spectacular.

All the UK Rose and Crown cast used to come out to the steps on the rear deck of the restaraunt and sing along to Rule Brittania. Used to really make us feel proud to be British. I loved illuminations 25, as well as Reflections of Earth and have seen them many times. My favorite time was sharing it for the first time with my grandaughters, Anna and Sarah for the first time.
