Where is nat pagle in mop

Apparently, he used his fame or got famous by launching or licensing his own line of fishing equipment. He states he has no particular interest in fishing, but has been fishing for years. He also says that fishing is "a great excuse to drink This assumption is also supported by the fact that there are many booze bottles found at Pagle's Pointe in the Zul'Gurub instance, which is presumably a former fishing spot of his.

A fishing skill of and a minimum level of 35 were required to start the quests. After Patch 3. The quest offered a special superior-quality fishing pole instead. If you already completed the quest, you could visit Nat Pagle to receive this fishing pole.

This quest involved returning the tape to Nat. When completing this quest, he said it is his favorite measuring tape and shares information about the hydra Gahz'ranka. In another repeatable quest given by Nat, after completing "Nat's Measuring Tape" and having a fishing skill of or higher, he gave instructions for summoning Gahz'ranka at Pagle's Pointe.

He also sold the lures needed for summoning Gahz'ranka. These Mudskunk Lures had to each be filled with 5 Zulian Mudskunk in order to be used. Zulian Mudskunk are caught in Zul'Gurub itself.

This Zul'Gurub boss encounter was optional and could be done only once after every reset of the instance. In-game, various items besides the ones in Nat Pagle's line of fishing equipement below can be found.

It is by this book that Nat Pagle was first connected to the quest for the legendary sword Ashbringer. The last readable page contains only the words: " And so that's where you'll find the legendary sword of the Scarlet Highlord, Ashbringer. Comment by by now, just Flying Tiger Gourami can be fished from pools. I found Pat Nagle in Anglers Wharf at coords Anglers Wharf is in Krasarang Wilds, which is the most southern zone within Pandaria. Hope this is helpful. If it's accepted, I attached a screenshot. Comment by The fish definitely can be obtained from pools.

It amazes me that people still deny that based on their own bad luck. I've gotten at least 4 of the 12 or so I've obtained so far from pools, including from Jewel Danio pools. I had a skill of at the Danio pools, so to the suggestion that maybe my lure was outside the pool: There's no way that I would succeed in catching a Danio and a Flying Tiger Gourami the 1 time my lure was "out" of the pool. The odds that I would even catch a Danio that way is pretty rare I would more likely have gotten junk.

Add to this the near statistical impossibility that this has happened at other pools and it becomes clear that those denying this are wrong. Stop denying facts with false statistics and misleading people.

These quest fish indeed do come from pools. Comment by Pzypro Fishing for Spinefish Alpha in Sha waters is totally not worth it for this reputation, time-wise. Unless you are absolutely bent on maxing his rep in as few days as possible at any cost. Reasons are: 1 All Sha waters are very far from any oceans and inland waters you need for the other fish - especially far from the Angler's base.

You can avoid 3 by fishing only from spinefish pools but flying around looking for them and then lining up casts is not time efficient either. You're a lot better off only fishing for Mimic Octopus and the Flying Tiger thing. Both are fishable from pretty much anywhere and will flood you with a ton of other fish you can sell on AH.

Comment by KamiFrog I realize I will be downvoted and hidden for this. Also, inb4 "u mad bro. On average each day, I caught And his stupid hat. And his stupid pole. And his stupid book. I fished in pools. I fished in open areas. I fished, and I fished, and I fished. Comment by Alejadox The funny fact is that on 5. As Blizzard Say The reputation from each fish will be increased and the fishing rate will be increased as well I fly to the Shadow Pan dailies base and then down to the South-western part of the middle island holding up the bridge to the Temple Island around 45, Once the spinefish is caught, I fly over to the lake on the island for the tiger also a nice place for the salmon and redbelly by-catch.

I've seen the lake get fished before but never, not once, saw anyone fishing the spinefish at the location I mentioned. The southwestern part of that island is better as the northeastern part has shark patrols that may interrupt your grind. Edit: spelling. Comment by McZ Ok is there a way to get the crimson water strider cause im having a hard tim finding the source if so. Comment by luuthur I can confirm after now getting 2 Flying Tiger Gourami from fishing pools that you can fish them from pools in their designated locations.

Comment by Greystar As of 5. I've gotten Mimics out of Octopus pools and out of Shrimp pools. Not sure about the Spinefish Alpha since I haven't caught one yet but I'd assume it applies to that as well. Edit: I have now caught all three fish out of pools, although it seems to take longer for the Spinefish pools but that may just be because they are fewer located near each other. Comment by kharth Fish turn in quests are up to rep in 5. Comment by petponygirl I get it. This is a labor of love for us fishing enthusiasts, but the time required to fish on just one toon to get exalted with dear Nat is enough to max fishing on our other elebenty brazillion toons.

So for the love of fishing, please make the rare fish BOA so we can at least feel more productive while we work on skilling up others. Just my two cents! Comment by RogueDante Not sure how helpful this is, but i just got back into playing and decided to work on this rep. I have the Ancient Pandarian Fishing Charm and used it it took me all of 15 mins total to catch all 3 fish. Maybe the charm helps with drop rate. Comment by morgean I saw the question asked here so I will answer.

Someone asked if you have to do the dailies first before doing the rare daily quest the answer is no. I'm lvl 87 I can't even do the dailies yet and I am able to get the fish. Also as a side note I was able to get both the Flying fish and the Mimic in one day now here is the kicker I am able to everyday fish up the mimic by just fishing at the dock right next to Nat just in open water as for the flying fish I been only able to get it from the flying fish pool not sure if you can get it in open water but I'm guessing you can get it from an area that have the flying fish in open water just like you can get the mimic.

Hope this helps someone! Comment by JonGhost52 Ben of the Booming Voice who's fishing in the river just east of the Halfhill Market can tell you of a 'fishing secret' similar to Jogu the Drunk who's advising on vegetables to do in your farm for an extra 2 harvested , basically a special event that happened and that generated favorable fishing conditions ; he can even put a marker on your map to facilitate your trip!

To follow his advise is likely to get you one of the special fish required to raise your reputation with Nat Pagle. Note that you don't need to speak with Ben to get the event to appear, as I spoke to him with one of my toons but went to the place with another. Guess I'll keep a guy at Halfhill Market to conveniently speak with him everyday! I casted 6 times and on the 7th I got the Flying Tiger Gourami.

Comment by don Well since there isn't a nice up to date guide Ill make everyone a nice little guide for you. Credit and thanks go to: Lilikoi I also found it a bit faster if you fish them out of each of their corresponding Pools Highlighted in Parenthesis There are also the special pools each day, which is found out by speaking with Ben of the Booming Voice The Halfhill Market - Valley of the Four Winds, One you fish these up and turn them in you can go back out and fish them again for the next day..

B Achievements There are a total of 8 achievements including the meta required to get the level 3 Fishing Shack Blue Prints All of the Achievements Require you to fish up of each enormous type of fish The best way to catch all of these fish is to fish up in each area bait that will increase your chances of obtaining enormous fish. But in WoD he will offer even more dailies to make him your best friend There are 8 repeatable quests, and as of 6.

Sure you can go out and just sit there with no fishing pole or bait due to the no need of a fishing pole or gear in 5. Only Lasts 1 Minute and can be applied on pets or bodyguard or npcs, Can also stack. Comment by hannibalektr I don't see a reason to grind Nat's Hat , when you can get Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat as it's almost as good and by the time you get the damn thing you'll be fishing anyway!

Comment by Boarwood Nat's Fishing Journal can be purchased at halfway through "Buddy" reputation, which is the third tier of friend rep. It was really hard for me to find that information.

Comment by Saucery I feel as that Nat will never be my best friend this makes me sad : this friendship requires me to do so much for him. Chances are if you do need his skill bonus, you would be a lowbie. However, by the time you have to do the initial exalted to the Anglers and get his fishes you'd be so far in, that you'd at most need to use it once, but probably not even once. Comment by OceanKobe Okay guys, I did the math. So the math says You'll be already exalted with the anglers if you do the dailies as well, so don't worry about that.

Finally, if you're not in a guild and you're not a human I don't know why you wouldn't just join a guild for the rep but whatever… then it'll take you EDIT: As of 6.

Otherwise, it'll take you 23 days and 1 extra fish on the 24th day. Sorry guys, it'll have to take 2 extra days. Comment by Biffsterr I've been doing this rep grind for the past couple of weeks. Usually, I get two of the quests to drop after only one or two casts.

The third takes 30 or so casts. It's weird how constant this is. Today just after turning Good Friend with Nat, however, the drop rate probability was just plain evil. Mimic Octopus took about casts no exaggeration , the second took over 30 and the third I got after about 8 casts. Sometimes the probability gods at bliz are mean. Comment by gamedisciple My daily routine essentially involves turning in the fish to Nat Pagle and then "restocking" for the following day since you can only have 1 of the fish at a time.

Comment by Damonra Only one of each fish can be turned in per day. Does anyone know if more than one can be caught per day? I know the Darkmoon Faire turn-ins can be have multiple copies of the same item stored in the bank for turn ins in following months. I'm wondering if the same is true with these fish. See Drudge's comment below for getting Nat in your garrison.

I don't think his rep was reset for Warlords so I'm guessing it's a profile glitch. I suggest finding a fishing buddy, or you may just want to gouge your eyes out! I wish WOW would give us a break and just make it like 5 coins per fish I doubt it would break anything! Back to the grind Comment by redrummer Hi, just wanted to let some people know: I caught two fat sleeper lunkers today without having Nat assigned to my fishing shack.

I did the daily apexis quest, then flew to Riverside Post and set up in the area to fish I wasn't sure at the time if Nat was assigned to shack or not. In about 6 mins I caught a lunker so I decided to fish my full hour or about. Took me a total of 45 mins but I did catch one more lunker then I returned to garrison and confirmed my suspicion that Nat was not assigned He is now. Maybe they changed it at 6. Comment by scarpayne I was already halfway through my rep grind with him in MOP, does this transfer to him in WOD or is it a brand new rep grind?

Included is some data I've gathered on my own about Lunkers the primary source of Nat Pagle reputation in WoD and Nat's Lucky Coin, the currency you will purchase items from Nat with and grinding the mount purchased with Nat's Lucky Coin. Information gathered using equipment that increased my fishing skill from to About Lunkers: First, there are several resources out there reporting that you can only have a max of 30 Lunkers at a time.

This is not accurate. There are 7 types of bait for 7 types of fish Crescent Sabre Fish do not require bait and are easily catchable in every zone.

You can have 5 Lunkers of Each type in your inventory, making the total 35 Lunkers Max. The confusion comes from the fact that you cannot have more than 5 Lunkers in your bag from any zone. When it came to catching Sea Scorpion, I traveled to Ashran and did my fishing off the coast there - specifically so I could test the theory of 30 Lunkers max screenshot of my inventory included with the others, link near the top of this page. Second, although there are reports that you do not need to have Nat Pagle working in your Fishing Shack, I had 0 Lunker catches in my first 2 hours of fishing.

Once I assigned Nat to the fishing shack, I began to catch Lunkers within about 5 minutes. This does not confirm that you can or cannot catch Lunkers without him assigned to your fishing shack, but I had better luck with him working.

About Baits: Baits last 10 min, up from 5 min. About Farming Coins: Today, I spent the afternoon fishing. Perhaps, if more users provide their experiences, we can then begin to discern a pattern.

Also, a small number of Fragrant Pheromone Fish were caught which I trashed upon catching and didn't get actual numbers on, sorry. What does this mean about your Grind for Coins? Well, it means that you can expect to earn 35 coins in about hours fishing.

This makes grinding coins for the mount equivalent to most rep grinds for mounts at about 25 - 35 hours depending on luck and possibly decreased further by higher fishing skill.
